I finally found my Christmas pictures in this darn computer. Please bear with me. Even though its January I still wanted to show you my Christmas pictures and the dogs said they wanted to meet you, they are sooooooo excited.
Please meet Waldo he is my Border Collie rescued dog who is about 9 years old and my helper in the garden and trouble maker.
Can you see Waldo smiling - because he loves to have his picture taken - he is quite the HAM!!
Guess he thinks he is a person, are your animals like that?
This is Lili and she wants you to see her eyes, she thinks that they are her best feature. She is a rescued dog and is about 4 years old, and the sweetest dog you would ever meet.
Lili wanted you to see her profile and how pretty she is. I know she is pretty but if she could help me a little more in the garden - that would be great - she thinks she is a DIVA LOL and does not like to get her toe nails dirty or wet. You know how those DIVA 'S are.
As you can see this is my Christmas tree in the living room and I would have shown it during the holidays, except I just couldn't find it in this darn computer. As you can see I love love love red and it works so well for Christmas which is my favorite holiday. See the rooster pillow on the couch - that was from my granddaughter Kelly for Christmas, and it is one of my favorite gifts. Everyone KNOWS how I love roosters and chickens. I will have to do a post on that some day.
Here is another picture of my buddy, garden helper and yard supervisor - Waldo.
Thank you all so much for visiting me and taking the time to read my second post and making me feel so very welcome.
Please leave a comment as I read them all and love hearing from you. If your not already a follower, please join me... Mary

Hi Mary, this is my first commen to any blog ever! Your site is amazing and these pictures at Christmas time are amazing. Love you, Robin
DeleteI am so happy to have found your blog. I came over from Sweet Nothings.Your dogs have the cutest expressions. My pomeranian loves to have his picture taken, too. I am in Missouri so my outside garden is sleeping right now. I have a lot of plants in my inside garden (window sill) right now. I checked out your first blog entry also. Loved seeing your roses, orchid, fern, and flower garden. I hadn't thought about hummingbirds drinking out of the birdbath. I have been putting a pot of flowers in my birdbath for the past couple of years. Maybe this year I will use it again for a birdbath. I plant zinnias to attract hummingbirds.
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty living room, and yes, perfect for Christmas decor. Love your toile curtains and that red sofa. Your tree looks stunning. Waldo and Lilli look so sweet, and the way you wrote about their photo session was so cute. laurie
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your comments. I also love the red sofa - when I saw it had to have it and I finally found the material to make the curtains. I also found the bench in almost the same pattern as the curtains.
ReplyDeleteI do love my dogs and they are so good and a lot of company for me.
Thanks for viewing my blog and hopefully you will enjoy them.
Regards
Mary

ReplyDeleteMary,
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting us and following Red Rose Alley. First of all, I love your name, Mary. Second, I am glad to see that someone loves RED as much as I do. My kitchen was in red, and I just changed it to turquoise. Your tree looks so lovely in your living room, and Waldo is such a cute dog. I also wanted to say that I appreciate how big your font is on your posts - they are always easier to read. It's so nice to meet new friends, and I am now following you too. Have a sweet day.

ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your kinds words and prayers.

Hi Mary. So glad your friend told you to visit. You are a little like me. I love all the things that I do including your loving dogs. They are the world to me even though some days they are too much . Kitty jumps on my tablescape and mess things up so I have to take everything breakable off as soon as I take the pictures. The dogs are in the window barking at the dogs going walking. Never a dull moment. I spent a lot on my garden last year and we got so little rain they just died.I will be a follower.
ReplyDeleteSo nice to meet Lili and Waldo!
ReplyDeleteOh Mary, your doggies are both delightful! Yes, I can see how Lili might be just a tad too dainty and shy away from some hard work, but can you blame her? She's so pretty! In contrast, Waldo looks like he thrives on getting his paws dirty if they will help to get the job done! Your home is absolutely gorgeous, so cozy and inviting, and Christmasy!
