Christmas at the Ferguson's
This Candy Tree is in the kitchen and it is full of candy canes, cookies and gingerbread. Santa and his helpers are busy supervising their special tree.
Santa is really inspecting the cookies on the tree. He wants them perfect.
The Candy Cane wreath is in the kitchen and it goes with the tree.
The buffet is filled with all sorts of candy - Santa and the Nutcracker are there ready to serve you a treat
This wreath I have in my dining room.
Santa and his Jester are watching over all the Christmas decorations. See the little elf's - they are all over the garland helping Santa keep an eye on the things. I saw a hutch in Southern Lady with the garland and Santa's on them. I liked it so much that I tried to copy it.
There is Lili laying by the tree again I think she is guarding the tree.
Do you see the twinkling lights on the patio - they look so good at night very festive and just enough light for the patio.
The decoration on the coffee table is just a wreath with a few picks and candles.
Waldo loves to get his picture taken - he is such a ham.... This is the patio off of the living and one whole wall is a slider so the view is great. I like to decorate the table for the different seasons. I spend a lot of time out there and when it's cold I light the fire place.
A chippy ladder that I purchased at a garage sale for $4.00.
I put some garland on it, ribbon and bird houses.
Makes a great decoration for Christmas.
Just a little table for 2. The table is steel and was cut by a laser machine. I was at a trade show in Chicago about 10 years ago and the booth next to our's was making these tables and they gave me one. I had it put on my North American Van returning to our offices in California.
Last but not least is my gardening Santa sitting on my little serving table on the patio. I hope you liked the tour of my little cottage.
Lili, Waldo and myself wish all of you a wonderful MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR
We hope you leave a comment ..... as we love to read them.

Your home is just gorgeous, Mary! Wow, you sure have been busy decking the halls! The tree in your kitchen is so fun, and so are your cooking Santas:) I love your yellow walls, and gorgeous toile curtains, I am in love with toile!! Looks like your pups are enjoying all of the pretty decorations, too. Lucky you to have such a beautiful patio, not to mention an outdoor fireplace! It's all so pretty, thank you for taking us along on your tour!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Donna for your comments. It always makes me feel good when bloggers like my posts. I am so new to blogging, will be 1 year in January.
DeleteHope that Katie is being a good girl - she is such a cutie.

ReplyDeleteDebra
Thanks so much Debra. It was a lot of work but fun creating.
DeleteHave a great weekend.
Mary
Hi Mary, WOW your home tour is gorgeous. I love your home and all your wonderful treasures. Your kitchen tree is just a delight and your santas are precious. I have the same small baker santa in my post today too. Gorgeous wreath and your coffee table centerpiece is stunning. Love your deer too. Beautiful outdoor patio you have created and I love the black and white. Your home for Christmas is so cozy and inviting. I see your sweet fur babies too and they are adorable.
ReplyDeleteThank you for having us in to visit. Wishing you a wonderful week up to Christmas.
Hugs, Celestina Marie
Thanks so much for your lovely comments. I love the kitchen tree and Santa's it is always so much fun to decorate.
DeleteHave a wonderful weekend. I have to go and find your post to see your Santa's. I have had that for a very long time. One of the salesmen sent it to me for Christmas.
Mary
Christmas has come to your house and it looks beautiful. I love the kitchen tree with all the ornaments.
ReplyDeleteThanks Betty for your comments. So glad that you like the kitchen tree.
DeleteHave a wonderful weekend.
mary
What a wonderful tour...absolutely everything looks great! You are definitely ready for the holiday, people must really enjoy coming over to your home. I have a little candy tree in my kitchen too, but you have so many fabulous decorations on yours. Mine are all very old but I still love them. Have a super Christmas!
ReplyDeleteMost of the ornaments are old on my candy tree also - I really love that tree. I only purchase 3 ornaments this year. I need to start down sizing.
DeleteHave a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS.
Mary
Mary!! Your home is so colorful, whimsical and festive! You must have tons of energy! I just love everything, especially that cute tree in the kitchen. And the candy!! How do you not give in to temptation? I've been heating about a pound of Hershey Kisses a night!! ;-)
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane
The candy in glass canisters is old and I wouldn't eat it. I put them in zip lock bags in a cool area and use the candy each year. Now when I make fudge and cookies I will be in trouble. LOL
DeleteNo I do not have a lot of energy - I have COPD so I work awhile and then rest. I eventually get it done and then some days I can't do anything but rest. But I keep on trucking.....
thanks so much for your lovely comments.
MERRY CHRISTMAS.
Mary
Thanks for sharing all of your wonderful Christmas decorations with us! So many ideas I want to steal! Especially that candy tree! Love it all!!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Liz. I purchased most of the candy tree ornaments from Shinoda Wholesale Center. They had the most fabulous Candy Tree there and I copied it and its been about 7 years ago. If I see something that will go I purchase that ornament but not anything new out there. I just love decorating that tree.
DeleteHave a Merry Christmas.
Mary
You have some wonderful, wonderful Christmas decor there-from the kitchen tree (that is being guarded-lol) to the patio...Amazing details throughout. The perfect touch is your red sectional. Did you buy that just for Christmas?;>) Beautiful, Mary! xo Diana ps. LOVE all the candy used decoratively-
ReplyDeleteThanks Diana, it was fun to decorate this year but a lot of work and I am not even going to be here for Christmas LOL Can you tell that I LOVE LOVE Christmas. No I didn't buy the red sectional just for Christmas. I walked into that store and fell in love with it and had to have it also it was a floor model and I got it discounted.
DeleteThat baby girl is in my prayers along with your grandson.
Have a wonderful Christmas with all your loving family.
Mary
Beautiful Christmas tour..love your garden Santa…and all of the great details in every room…Love the cute Kitchen tree!!!..goes so well with your candy cane tree and those beautiful jars of candy!!
ReplyDeleteI would have to say that I love doing the Candy Tree. The first time my granddaughter saw these decorations her eyes glazed over - she loves candy canes and peppermint candy.

Merry Christmas
Mary
G O R G E O U S !!! I love so many things in the house, especially that wonderful little white ladder.
ReplyDeleteFound the ladder around the corner from my house. The lady was moving and she was really getting quite a few items and I saw the ladder and I grabbed it. I went home with a car full of stuff. Not that I needed anything, LOL
DeleteThanks for your comments.
Your dinner tables are terrific.
Merry Christmas
Mary
Hi Mary,
ReplyDeleteYour lovely home is decked out in red and white and pink delight. The mini tree in your kitchen is adorable and so playful! I love the chippy ladder dressed in garland, very shabby chic! I am especially taken with the pretty buffet vignette for its candy counter mood and whimsical character! Your home glows beautifully this Christmas, enjoy!
Thanks for sharing and have a Merry Christmas!
Poppy
Thanks Poppy, I had a fun time decorating this year even though I am not going to be home for Christmas. Will have a few friends over for some holiday cheer.
DeleteSo glad that you liked my decorations.
Have a wonderful Christmas.
Mary
Hi Mary! OH, I'm just loving seeing your lovely home decorated for Christmas. You should show us more of it! :) hint hint! Nice to have your little fuzzy face watching over your tree.
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Thanks Shelia, you are always so supportive of my posts. It was fun decorating for Christmas and this was the first Christmas when I wasn't working or sick. I think I went a little overboard and you never know when your olden if you will be able to decorate next year.
ReplyDeleteThis is the first time that the babies have hung out so much by the tree. Maybe they are waiting for their present. LOL
Have a wonderful Christmas you and Mr. Precious.
Mary
How festive!

Harvest Lane Cottage
Lovely decorations! I liked being able to see your outside lights through your front window & I'm jealous that you have temps warm enough to decorate your patio!
ReplyDeleteAll the peppermint/candy items are precious!
I used to get Southern Lady magazine & loved it. I don't think I ever tossed away a single issue either. I'm running out of room to store all my favorite magazines now though, so I've discontinued a lot of them. I still go back to look through the ones I've saved. Some ideas are timeless, like the Santas all along your hutch. CUTE!
I have dropped a lot of magazines also. I always keep Romantic Homes, & Southern Lady. I normally give mine when I done reading them to a friend.
DeleteI love the lights outside on the patio - they are on a timer - I like to be able to see what's going on.
Thanks for your comments.
Merry Christmas
Mary
Mary it looks so Merry and Bright!

Thanks so much Patti. The candy tree was so fun to do and collect all the ornaments, especially if you have children. Their eyes glaze over as they look at all the fun ornaments.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a Very Merry Christmas - I'm of tomorrow to San Jose to see my son and granddaughter.
Mary

Hi Mary! Hope your new year is going well. Thank you so much for popping in to see my little felties!
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie and I hope it's warm at your house.
Shelia ;)
When shopping for wedding accessories, many brides love to shop worldwide. There are multiple ways of doing this, one being to shop online. But an increasingly popular way of shopping for designer, boutique, vintage, and one-of-a-kind wedding accessories is to actually travel to different countries.
