Welcome to Christmas in Fullertonville. Everyone in town is so excited with Christmas coming soon.
There are sleigh rides, ice skating in the town square, sleighing down the mountain and children's train rides.
This is Mayor Kringle's home - isn't it beautiful. You can see Mrs. Kringle having tea with her granddaughter
Kelly, in the parlor.
Oh look - Kris's Christmas Tree Farm is doing a booming business as everyone in town wants to put their tree up before the next snow storm comes in. It is such fun to cut down your own tree and bring it home.
The children are having such fun. The maintenance men fixed a little slide for the younger children, so they could have some fun also. Yea Yea Yea.
The maintenance men also thought of everything for everyone ........
Here is Fullertonville's lovely Bed and Breakfast for the tourists who are traveling to this wonderful town. Mrs. Jingle cooks a really terrific breakfast and the smells that come from her kitchen are so yummy. Her muffins are to die for.....
Here is our Village Crossing Depot, however the trains are not running today because of the snow storm. As you can imagine the B & B is full and Mrs. Jingle is very busy taking care of all her guests.
I sure hope there are no fires or emergencies as the Fire Truck cannot get out due to the snow. I am sure they are shoveling so they can get out.
This is such a fun store so many collectibles in there - I'm sure many blogger's travel here to find some very unusual treasures. I hope the snow melt just a little so they can go shopping.
Here is our wonderful French Bakery - oh the desserts, cookies and bread that they make would melt in your mouth.
The sandwiches are also terrific - you know this is a French Bakery Pierre is from France. People travel for miles to get some of his French desserts.
Mrs. Bee's Yarn Shoppe has so many wonderful types of yarn, in all colors. Ladies travel for miles to purchase yarn from her shop. Hope that everyone has purchased their yarn before the big snow storm came in and there is another one on the way. Oh dear......
OH, look....Mr. Barsom's shop is closed - no lights on. I bet he is up in the mountains skiing. He makes such beautiful furniture and does a great job refinishing old pieces with Annie Sloan's paint. He must have completed all of his orders. Such a kind gentleman and a great craftsman. We are so lucky to have him here.
Here is the Ivan and Davis - 1896 - Building. The Incredible Toy Emporium. People travel for miles to come and purchase the most unusual toys for their children. I love to just go in and look at all the lovely toys they have The children get so excited with anticipation wondering what Santa will be bringing them.
OH, look at that Henry putting up a sign - oh goody goody a Pancake Breakfast on Saturday for only $5.00. They must have gotten the roads open. There is Mrs. Kringle holding Kelly up to mail a letter to Santa, hope he gets it in time. Poor Waldo is trying to get a drink from the frozen fountain. He loves the snow - running around and around trying to catch snowflakes.
Here is an overview of the town of Fullertonville. It is a wonderful place to come for a visit, so quaint and everyone is so friendly. Remember to make your reservations early before the B & B gets sold out.
WISHING EVERYONE A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS

Hi Mary, I was so excited to see your post in my email. Fullertonville is a wonderful. I love all the quaint shoppes. I could live right there forever. You have such a special collection of buildings and pieces I have never seen before. Love your display. So enjoyed your post and creativity. Wishing you a wonderful evening.

Thank you so much - I loved putting my village together. Normally I put it on the dining room table with my 2 leaves in it, but I am having a few girl friends over for a luncheon so there would be no room to eat. I opened up my antique sofa table and put it on there. I couldn't put out all of the houses since I didn't have enough room. I purchased these from Michael's. I was like a little girl playing with dolls LOL
DeleteHave more to come - just need to clean up my mess all over the floor, looks like it is snowing.
Have a wonderful evening.
Mary
Wow-what a sweet little town! :)

Fullertonville makes me think of downtown Orange with all the cute shops and restaurants.
ReplyDeleteYes, it does remind me of Orange and Fullerton in the late 1880's, not that I was around then LOL

ReplyDeleteHi Mary, I wish I had known about Fullertonville. Maybe I could have hitched a ride with my fairies. If you look closely they might have stopped by there on their way to Florida!! Such a lively little village and the stories are always so much fun, I think! My computer is messed up and can't get into my gmail account so am leaving a thank you for your sweet comments to me. We are still very cold but no more snow..Happy Tuesday..Judy

ReplyDeleteThanks so much Shirley. It was a lot of fun but also lots of work. Yes, the Mayor house is very pretty. I have more but couldn't get them all on the table. Maybe next year.
ReplyDeleteHave a great evening.
Mary
got a real chuckle about them being snowed in as we have not been able to get out for 5 days now. The snow turned to ice and we can't get out because no one in our area of Texas has snow shovels or plows. Wish I was in your lovely village and could just step out!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry that your snow bound. Thanks for your lovely comments. Hope your snow has melted.
ReplyDeleteMary
Hi Mary, I really enjoyed the tour around your quaint little village...Fullertonville! What a special place to spend the holidays...hugs, Penny
ReplyDeleteMary,
ReplyDeleteFullertonville is wonderful! I have always wanted one of these villages, but never got around to buying one. Oh, they even have a Bakery! And what made me smile was the children enjoying themselves at Christmas time. Wouldn't it be nice to live in a town just like this? How charming Fullertonville is. Thank you for sharing this little part of the world with us.
Love,
~Sheri
Thanks so much for your kind comments. It was so much fun and I didn't even have enough room to put up 6 more buildings. I got mine at Michael's on sale for 50% off. I haven't purchased any for a couple years now. The last one was the Kris's Christmas Tree Business. They even have Halloween ones - maybe I will start on that next year.
DeleteHave a great weekend.
Mary
What a charming village. I'm happy somehow thta the baker is French: I won't feel too lost when I visit!
ReplyDeletePierre moved from France so he could introduce Fullertonville to all the villagers and they love the French pastries yummy. So glad that you liked my post.
DeleteMary
Hi Mary,
ReplyDeleteI so enjoyed your lovely narration of the people and the places in this charming little town of Fullertonville, that I was sad when it ended! Have you considered writing a 'Part 2', to fill us in on Mr. Parson's adventure, etc..? I'd be back in a flash for that, as well as seeing what all the other locals have been up to!
Although the entire town is quite quaint, I'd readily rent, or better still, house sit for the Mayor and his family, while they take an extended vacation in Europe. In fact, we can swap houses for a while, wouldn't that be great?! Then, to support myself, I'd get a job at the French Bakery, baking sweet treats for the locals, while we all sip on cafe au laits, and chat about the latest town happenings!
Thanks for sharing this darling Christmas village, it brought a smile to my face!
Have a wonderful rest of the week!
Poppy
PS: Sent you an email earlier, as I had written a comment here and seemed to have lost it upon publication, probably because I lost my internet connection for a few seconds!! In case you see it!
Thanks so much Poppy. I received both of the emails and I answered them. Once again thanks so much.

I love your Christmas village this little quaint township is absolutely precious and one that I would like to live in. Do you think they have homes for sale? I love all of the happy townsfolk and they have the best attitude ever! Surely this must have taken time, love and patience to put together, but is one beautiful town and the details are amazing!
ReplyDeleteThank you for brightening up my evening!
Warmest of Holiday Hugs-

What a wonderful "town". I love it all. I love these villages, my hubby had a whole room full of trains and we used Dept. 56 houses all over the board. I say had because last year we moved to this new home and he hasn't gotten his trains up yet! Have a VERY merry Christmas, Mary!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your comments. I have the houses from Michael's and I was able to purchase them about 4 years ago at 50% off. I couldn't get all of them on the table - need more space LOL You will ahve to get your trains and houses up for next year.

Mary
So so nice village ! I have only some tiny houses like that , but of course I painted them pink and white to suit with my French shabby decor.

I'm sure yours are very lovely. Thank you for your kind comments. Christmas is such fun - takes so long to decorate that I hate to take it down in January. Seems like we should leave it up longer.

I could spend hours in Fullerton just taking it all in Mary. It truly is a magical place! I have not put my village out since I moved into this home. Was planning on it this year, but because our daughter and sil is living down stairs I decided to let them use their decorations and save it for next year. My grands love looking at it. All of the little people are just so cute! Thanks for sharing with Sugar and Spice Christmas party!
