FALL GARDEN

I had to share this beautiful day with you today.  When I went out to the back yard to feed the birds and do a little clean up I couldn't believe my gardens.  They were stunning!

Meet Daisy and Danny, there are in the front yard to greet you and would like you to come into the front yard to see the flowers.  This rose is Peace.

Meet Marilyn Monroe, a beautiful pale flesh colored rose.  She is next to my Tiger Tail plant, they look so pretty next to each other.

This is the red Eden rose and is a pretty deep red.

This is my frog bird bath that I purchased in Mexico many years ago.  It sets at the end of my dry creek bed.

All of these roses are English roses with many petals on them.  I like them when they have over 30 petals per rose.

This rose came from Covington, GA.  When I was a Meeting Planner we were having a show in Covington at our facility there.  I met a lovely lady from Sugar Babe's restaurant who was doing our catering.  Through the years we became friends and I used her all the time when we needed a cater.  One day I received a package in the mail. In the package was this rose bush.  It came from her home and was over a 100 years old.  She was in the process of selling her home and she wanted this rose bush to go to someone who would care for it.  I was so touched by her kindness..  It's a very soft pink small tea rose.

Can you see the Paper Whites peaking thru... They are really early this year.  My son, Shaun, gave me the bulbs many years ago for Christmas.

This is the side of the front yard.  Can you see the rabbit bench - another find in Mexico.

Aren't these a lovely color - orange with cream under coat.

Another picture of my dry creek bed.  We put this dry creek bed in because when going up to the front door  it always flooded when it rained.

This is John F Kennedy rose - it looks like blood drops on the side of the rose.  A beautiful white... It is almost ready to loose it petals, but so pretty.

Another one of my favorite roses, it's in the back yard.

As you can see all of my roses are really blooming and I hope they continue through Christmas.  I hope this brings a little sunshine to those who are having cold weather.

Hope you leave a comment as I love to read them.
