CHRISTMAS SHOW AT SHINODA'S 2015

CHRISTMAS SHOW AT SHINODA'S - 2015

Shinoda's had their Christmas show, but I waited until a couple of days later.  The show is mobbed, so many people, no parking, pushing and shoving.  You would think it was the day before Christmas.
I must say that they had many, many lovely decorations.

I have picked the best of the trees and decorations to post as I didn't want you all to fall asleep.

So here goes ...... I've added a couple Halloween and Thanksgiving pictures also with a couple of tired doggies.  I don't know why they were so tired, they didn't go shopping.

The Carolers greeted people as arrived at the door, don't they look real?
Lets begin our looking and shopping experience.

Santa in his sled checking names of good little children.

Winter Wonderland - I am just going to show pictures and if you have any questions, just let me know and I will answer them as best I can.

Stunning Ribbon ....
Very, Very expensive, but oh so beautiful.  You know I love ribbons and am a little hoarder.

These poinsettia's were very large and stunning - I wanted some so badly.

Stunning wreath with apples, pears, pine cone's magnolia leaves and roses.

Lots of owls

Lots of gingerbread men, cookies, houses and treats.... Yum yum

Thought of my friend Kris with all these beautiful white decorations.

For all you Texas people - Howdy
Is that Cactus Pete?
Can you believe this - Chalk ribbon....

Lots of chalk boards in various sizes and designs plus the ribbon.
was a very bad girl - I bought a few of these for my tree - they are stunning.
Love all the Candy Canes - I put one of these trees in my kitchen with all the yummies on it.

Gotta love Santa with all that candy.

I immediately thought of Kris's husband Terry when I saw this.

Now for a few Halloween ideas

A few ideas for Thanksgiving.

That's it for the Christmas Show - hope that you didn't fall asleep and that I gave you some great ideas for your holidays.

Me, I felt like this by the time I got home.........

They are very tired and Waldo is guarding his purse.

Thanks so much for taking the time to go on this little tour with me.

Please leave your comments, we love to read them and will answer them back.

WHERE IS FALL?

Fall started last Wednesday, but, forgot to tell Southern California.  The drought and triple temperatures are terrible.  So, how can we think about Fall only to wish that Mother Nature would come to our rescue.

So some of you are beginning to experience Fall.  Falling leaves, a warm cozy fire in the fireplace, hot coffee, tea or chocolate.  Cuddling up with a warm cashmere throw, adding comforters to make a nice warm bed. I found a store that has wonderful bedding called the Parachute Company, in Venice, CA"  Check out their lovely linens.  I am not being compensated in anyway - just wanted to share.

I love watching all the beautiful leaves falling from the trees, squirrels gathering their nuts and seeds for winter.

I have decorated the house, patio and front porch with my pumpkins, mums and fall decorations.  But, no additional blanket or throws on the bed.  However, they are ready as soon as our temps start going down. I love to snuggle down under the comforter and sleep so much better.

I looked up the weather from October to the end of November - NO RAIN or COOLER temps.  I have a feeling that we will skip Fall and go right into Winter.

I wanted to share a few of the Fall decorations that I have placed around the house - hope you like them.............

Love the Candy Corn and Jelly Beans with the gourds and mini pumpkins.

Added Fall on top of my hutch.

Some more Fall on top of the Secretary with lights for night.

A little flower arrangement from Michael's many years ago sitting on the desk.

Pumpkins and candles on my coffee table.  Trader Joe's has amazing pumpkins of all different shapes, sizes and colors.

Wreath, leaf shaped dish and pumpkin platter on my table behind the couch.

So there you have it, just a little Fall in Southern California.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope that you leave a comment.  I just love reading all of them and I do try to answer all of them.  Happy Fall.
