FALL LUNCHEON

Two of my friends wanted to come over for lunch.  So I sat a Fall Table for them.  They are such busy ladies working in the hospitality industry, Patricia working as a Revenue Manager in a hotel and Julie works for
Disneyland in Sales.

The dishes were purchased at Marshall's about 2 years ago  The sunflower plates also at Marshall's.  The amber glasses from Walmart about 2 years ago.

I wanted their luncheon to be special, so out came my Tuscany Rooster set of dishes and rooster silverware.

I took a wreath and added sunflowers, pumpkins with my pumpkin candle holder in the center.  Two rooster candle holders to the side of the wreath, aren't they just the cutest?  My friend Phyllis from Around The House gave them to me for my Birthday several years ago.

Pattie and Julie came with two wonderful pizza's from the Pizza Press.  Vegetarian with yummy veggies on them and a nice field green salad.  I had made a appetizer platter of dill pickles, olives, cucumbers and radishes.  For dessert I made a Snickerdoodle Peach Cobbler with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream.

Aren't these dishes just wonderful for fall - the colors work so perfectly.

Don't the little pumpkins and gourds look cute.  I got some at Walmart and some at the Dollar Tree.

I just love these sunflower plates, they go so well with the dishes.  Hope you like my Fall Luncheon table.

Thanks for stopping by and I love reading your comments.

  2. What a wonderful table...the colors are so rich and vibrant. And, I love you centerpiece, so cute! I have some rooster dishes I got at Marshall's too, a bit different than yours but somewhat similar, I like using them outside in the summer. Of course anything with roosters is charming.

  22. Hi Mary, your table setting is just beautiful! I love it! I wish I could have my dinning room table look that nice but it is in the center of my house between the kitchen and living room and the family seems to dump everything on it. This is where I actually do all my blogging and thanks so much for the follow and sweet comment on the baked eggplant. I will follow you too. Take care and have a nice day.
