CHRISTMAS IN FULLERTONVILLE

Welcome to Christmas in Fullertonville.  Everyone in town is so excited with Christmas coming soon.
There are sleigh rides, ice skating in the town square, sleighing down the mountain and children's train rides.

This is Mayor Kringle's home - isn't it beautiful.  You can see Mrs. Kringle having tea with her granddaughter
Kelly, in the parlor.

Oh look - Kris's Christmas Tree Farm is doing a booming business as everyone in town wants to put their tree up before the next snow storm comes in.  It is such fun to cut down your own tree and bring it home.

The children are having such fun.  The maintenance men fixed a little slide for the younger children, so they could have some fun also.  Yea Yea Yea.

The maintenance men also thought of everything for everyone ........

Here is Fullertonville's lovely Bed and Breakfast for the tourists who are traveling to this wonderful town.  Mrs. Jingle cooks a really terrific breakfast and the smells that come from her kitchen are so yummy.  Her muffins are to die for.....

Here is our Village Crossing Depot, however the trains are not running today because of the snow storm.  As you can imagine the B & B is full and Mrs. Jingle is very busy taking care of all her guests.

I sure hope there are no fires or emergencies  as the Fire Truck cannot get out due to the snow.  I am sure they are shoveling so they can get out.

This is such a fun store so many collectibles in there - I'm sure many blogger's travel here to find some very unusual treasures.  I hope the snow melt just a little so they can go shopping.

Here is our wonderful French Bakery - oh the desserts, cookies and bread that they make would melt in your mouth.
The sandwiches are also terrific - you know this is a French Bakery Pierre is from France.  People travel for miles to get some of his French desserts.

Mrs. Bee's Yarn Shoppe has so many wonderful types of yarn, in all colors.  Ladies travel for miles to purchase yarn from her shop.  Hope that everyone has purchased their yarn before the big snow storm came in and there is another one on the way.  Oh dear......

OH, look....Mr. Barsom's shop is closed - no lights on.  I bet he is up in the mountains skiing.  He makes such beautiful furniture and does a great job refinishing old pieces with Annie Sloan's paint.  He must have completed all of his orders.  Such a kind gentleman and a great craftsman.  We are so lucky to have him here.

Here is the Ivan and Davis - 1896 - Building.  The Incredible Toy Emporium.  People travel for miles to come and purchase the most unusual toys for their children.  I love to just go in and look at all the lovely toys they have  The children get so excited with anticipation wondering what Santa will be bringing them.

OH, look at that Henry putting up a sign - oh goody goody a Pancake Breakfast on Saturday for only $5.00.  They must have gotten the roads open.  There is Mrs. Kringle holding Kelly up to mail a letter to Santa, hope he gets it in time.  Poor Waldo is trying to get a drink from the frozen fountain.  He loves the snow - running around and around trying to catch snowflakes.

Here is an overview of the town of Fullertonville.  It is a wonderful place to come for a visit, so quaint and everyone is so friendly.  Remember to make your reservations early before the B & B gets sold out.

WISHING EVERYONE A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS

    1. Thank you so much - I loved putting my village together. Normally I put it on the dining room table with my 2 leaves in it, but I am having a few girl friends over for a luncheon so there would be no room to eat. I opened up my antique sofa table and put it on there. I couldn't put out all of the houses since I didn't have enough room. I purchased these from Michael's. I was like a little girl playing with dolls LOL
Have more to come - just need to clean up my mess all over the floor, looks like it is snowing.
      Have a wonderful evening.

  18. got a real chuckle about them being snowed in as we have not been able to get out for 5 days now. The snow turned to ice and we can't get out because no one in our area of Texas has snow shovels or plows. Wish I was in your lovely village and could just step out!

Fullertonville is wonderful! I have always wanted one of these villages, but never got around to buying one. Oh, they even have a Bakery! And what made me smile was the children enjoying themselves at Christmas time. Wouldn't it be nice to live in a town just like this? How charming Fullertonville is. Thank you for sharing this little part of the world with us.

I haven't purchased any for a couple years now. The last one was the Kris's Christmas Tree Business. They even have Halloween ones - maybe I will start on that next year.
      Have a great weekend.

  23. Hi Mary,

I so enjoyed your lovely narration of the people and the places in this charming little town of Fullertonville, that I was sad when it ended! Have you considered writing a 'Part 2', to fill us in on Mr. Parson's adventure, etc..? I'd be back in a flash for that, as well as seeing what all the other locals have been up to!

Although the entire town is quite quaint, I'd readily rent, or better still, house sit for the Mayor and his family, while they take an extended vacation in Europe. In fact, we can swap houses for a while, wouldn't that be great?! Then, to support myself, I'd get a job at the French Bakery, baking sweet treats for the locals, while we all sip on cafe au laits, and chat about the latest town happenings!

Thanks for sharing this darling Christmas village, it brought a smile to my face!

Have a wonderful rest of the week!
