I still keep in touch with some of my friends from the hotel industry. So they wanted to come over for lunch and hang out. So this tablescape is for them. I am using my Debbie Mumm dishes that were given to me last year for my Birthday. I had my little friend Zoie helping me put this together.
I think we have a new blogger - she LOVED doing a tablescape and she is only 10 years old.
Each plate has a different design on the salad plate
They are so cheerful and bright. I was having problems with the light as it was a cloudy day today. This is more like June weather -- we call it June gloom, only it's July.
I love all of her designs and especially the black and white check around the boarder of the dishes.
Aren't they just the cutest dishes, wish I had a service for 8.
These little Birdie Salt and Pepper shakers are so cute just setting in their little nests. They really go well with the blue wine glasses, napkins and napkin rings.
Don't you just love the faux rolls and danish. This is the cake stand that goes with the S/P shakers. Or you can turn it over for a chip and dip bowl. There is a little birds nest in the center for the dip.
Doesn't this look so good and yummy and it's faux
I see that Waldo managed to get into the picture and there is Zoie setting in the back ground.
A pretty arrangement of Hydrangeas in my crystal vase from Tiffany's.
They are faux because mine look terrible from the drought.
So there you have my little tablescape for the girls. I think they will like it. I will be serving a Pasadena Salad from Trader Joe's and a Mushroom and Cheese Pizza also from Trader Joe's with a nice white wine.
This is my little helper, Zoie. She is no bigger than a minute.
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope that you will leave a comment.
The wine glasses came from Just Like The Models.
Napkins and Napkin rings are also from Just like the Models.
The butter dish is a cut crystal antique.
Bird Houses from Michael's, which I painted
The faux Danish and Rolls are from Just Like the Models.
Placemats and silver ware I've had for a long time.

Hi Mary, Zoie sure is a cutie, so nice that she enjoyed helping you get ready for your company! Lovely tablescape! Everything looks so festive. I hope you enjoyed spending time with your girlfriends! Blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteYes, Zoie is a darling little girl, but quite the fashion queen LOL. So glad that you liked the tablescape.
DeleteHave a wonderful weekend. I'm off to see Minions with Zoie. Should be a fun packed day with 1,000 little kids screaming.
Mary
What a nice presentation for your get together with your girlfriends. I'm sure they enjoyed the company and tasty food. Zoie is such a cute helper and look at her bright smile! I'm so glad I stopped by at your blog today. Have a wonderful Friday! Cheers, Ping
ReplyDeleteHello Mary, wow what a gorgeous table setting for you and your friends. It was so nice to have help from Zoie and Waldo is adorable! I do hope you have fun with your work friends as I'm sure they will love the lunch! Take care and hugs. Julie xo
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for stopping by Julie. I see you have posted about your great vacation in Sunny California.
DeleteWill go back and read it after I get back from the Minion movie with Zoie, my girl friend and her grandson. I can hardly wait to hear those kids enjoying the movie.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Hugs,
Mary
Zoie is cuter than a bugs ear and what a talented helper she is. It's so much fun to get the grand kiddo's involved with what you like to do. The table is beautiful...love those plates!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your sweet comments. Zoie isn't my granddaughter, she lives across the street from me. I watch her sometimes for her mom when her grandmother is out of town. Her grandmother and I are friends. But she loves to come to my house. Now she sets their dinner table each night. So at least she is learning. Took her to see the Minion's at the theater in 3 D. We had so much fun. Great movie.
ReplyDeleteI wish I had more of those plates - I just love them also, they are happy.
Have a great week.
Mary
